If you aren’t aware of the DreamHost service, read more about why aside always recommends DreamHost.

To top that, now, aside is offering a discount!
aside has created a promo code with DreamHost and is giving away reduced hosting! The code is aside06 aside2006 and it will give you a discount of $10*minimum discount of $40 and maximum discount of $80* if you sign up for their monthly L1 and L2 plans, a discount of $20 if you sign up for their monthly L3 plan and a discount of $30 if you sign up for any of their yearly or two-yearly plans. [ Considering that their most popular one year L1 plan costs only $119.40 [ which in itself is a VERY reasonable price for the features and service they provide ], a $30 discount should be a great incentive to start you off with them.
These are the details of the discount:

Head over their website and compare their plans.

Following on my previous post about meeting with Christophe Langlois.
Chris has now posted the video of the interview on YouTube and can be accessed from his blog from this particular blog post. The interview’s about business networking and blogging.

Christophe Langlois is in Mumbai, India and I had the opportunity to meet with him.
Christophe is Sales Manager – EMEA & Asia Pacific at Accuity.
We discussed online business networking at length – portals like openBC, LinkedIn, eCademy, Rediff Connexions and many more I’d not even heard of – Chris is obviously more experienced with the various networks than I am and it was fantastic to speak with him. He also managed to get me to do a video interview about online business networking and blogging, which he is going to post on YouTube and I will post the same on my blog as well.
Chris blogs about business networking on his very well-written and informative blog called the Visible Networking blog. You can grab a feed for his blog here.

The asideConsulting blog had been hosted on Blogger for over two years and has now been moved under the main aside website with a new WordPress design. It uses the Alexified theme, which is another personal favorite alongwith Blix.
Visit the new aside Innovation blog and check out the new design – compare it with the old Blogger blog.

Wow! Who thought it would be so simple.
The only trouble I had was that I deleted the wp-config.php file and had to thus re-create it. Apart from that it was just the slow internet connection that kept me nail-biting, waiting to see whether Blix works on WordPress 2.0 or not!
And it works! Whoopee! [ Oops! Sorry! But even though this is quite a professional/formal blog, I can't help clapping with glee at how easily the WordPress team makes me feel like I'm a geek
