Wow! I recently clicked on a profile link for someone on the second degree from me [ on LinkedIn of course ] and the top bar showed me this :

This is awesome! It helps me connect with more people that I might find interesting [ meaning - they might be prospective clients, prospective employees or prospective business associates! ]. I had no idea when LinkedIn implemented this but it’s an absolutely useful feature.
